Overall service for removing hazardous waste from laboratories and research institutions
Tabib was authorized by the Ministry of Environmental Protection as the final destination for receiving hazardous waste from laboratories, research institutions and small manufacturers producing up to 5 tons of toxic waste a year, all in accordance with the directives of the Hazardous Substances law 1993 determining that any type of hazardous lab waste and in any quantity will be removed to an approved site by the Ministry of Environmental Protection. |

Tabib removes all types and all quantities of lab waste from small bottles and test tubes to jerrycans, drums, bins and lab waste containers. It also removes various materials from chemical, cytotoxic and medication waste through contaminated biological waste to lab carrions. The company provides special containers and tools in various sizes made of different materials for storing hazardous waste in labs including proper signage. The company provides removal services for all types and all quantities of lab waste from all over Israel (except for radioactive materials and explosives). The lab waste is collected from hundreds of collection sites throughout Israel. The waste is transferred to a Tabib hazardous substances transport station where the waste is received by a chemist, sorted into groups and types, repackaged, analyzed and delivered to the final destination for treatment and recycling. |
