Removing and handling of all types and quantities of metal and electronic waste
Tabib removes and handles metal, electronic and computer waste of various types based on the company’s national collection system and alliance agreements with handling and recycling facilities. The company places special collection containers at the customer’s site and other sites and they are removed regularly by the company or upon the client’s request.
Electronic waste presents not only a quantity issue by a quality issue as well. This type of waste contains metals that if they were to reach the underground water are liable to cause contamination. In addition, many electronic appliances are extremely voluminous (televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, etc.) and take up a lot of space when concealed in the ground. Electronic waste contains many valuable components such as precious metals on printed circuits and therefore, it is very economical to recycle them.
Per the definition of the law and the directives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, it is prohibited to remove electronic waste to regular waste sites. They must be handled as part of the handling of hazardous substances.
