Land Surveys/Treating Contaminated Soil

Tabib carries out land surveys in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

The steps involved in a land survey are:

  • Preparation and submission of a disposal plan to the Ministry of Environmental Protection;
  • Soil sampling at a number of locations in order to determine the optimal site for soil removal;
  • Cleaning and pumping of spill containment pallet;
  • Digging and clearing land;
  • Excavation and cleaning contaminated soil with suitable equipment, in order to conduct a thorough cleaning;
  • Taking an additional soil sample in order to determine the definite site of soil removal;
  • Loading contaminated soil onto authorized trucks and transferring it to authorized sites;
  • Submitting a work summary and documentation showing the contaminated soil has been cleaned in accordance with Ministry of Environmental Protection standards.

Treating contaminated soil is part of Tabib's total waste management services. The company takes responsibility for removing the contaminated soil, transferring it to an authorized site, treating it, and returning the treated soil back to where it came from.
