Brine

Tabib holds the franchise to operate a terminal that receives brine (salt-rich solutions) and wastewater, and discharges them into the sea via a sewage pipeline in Rishon Lezion that belongs to the Shafdan Wastewater Treatment Plant. The discharge into the sea is done with the approval and supervision of Israel’s Ministry of Environmental Protection, as Tabib has a permit to discharge brine and wastewater into the sea.

Tabib removes, transports, and discharges brine from various industries, such as food, chemicals, textile, paint, and more.

Tabib's service includes conducting quarterly and annual analyses in accordance with the conditions set in its sea discharge permit.

Tabib also transports brine to its terminal via its fleet of tankers, which is comprised of different sized trucks.
